Let's Bare It!

For the last few weeks or so, I have been going bare, well my face that is:-)! Usually, I am a sucker for anything that will enhance my over all look. I enjoy keeping up with the trend especially when it comes to make-ups. Either, I am buying a new lip gloss or this season lipstick color. Don't get me wrong, make-up does enhance one's beauty but of course only if it's done properly.

And since we are still in the recession, I have decided to give my credit card a break and also my face a breather. I can tell you that it feels great not having to spend 15 or 20 minutes putting make up on in the morning before heading out for work. I get to sleep in more:-). My face could not feel any lighter and cleaner.

But of course, it also helps if you have a good daily facial routine. Let me share with you mine, but please keep in mind that the type of products I use cater for my dry to normal skin type. Please check with a dermatologist or an Esthetician for proper skin care suggestion.

Here are the products I use and I will explain the order that I use them.

L to R (Kinerase, Dermalogica Toner, Dermalogica Resurfacer, Dermalogica Clearing Gel, and Dermalogica Super Rich Repair)

1. Kinerase - gentle daily cleanser
I use to clean my face twice daily and I believe this is for normal skin type. It's super mild and very hypo allergenic.

2. Dermalogica Multi Active Toner - I believe this is for all skin types. It has lavender extract that soothes and purifies the skin. After I clean my face with the cleanser, I spritz the toner all over my face. It sort of helps hydrate your skin.

3. Dermalogica Daily Resurfacer - this exfoliate your face and it helps brightens it. I usually use this after I cleanse if I am not spritzing the toner.

4. Dermalogica Overnight Clearing Gel - apply after exfoliation. In my case, I just apply a thin layer of it on my T-Zone. It helps my congested face and sometimes with break outs. You can also use it to help with pores and blackheads.

5. Dermalogica Super Rich Repair Cream - this is the best night moisturizer especially during winter time when our skin is especially dehydrated. It has Shea Butter and Oil of Evening Primrose that help replenish skin with maximum hydration. My skin feels supple and smooth every morning I wake up.

I know it looks like a lot but trust me, each bottle lasts for a really long time. It's worth the investment:-). Take really good care of your skin and embrace baring it all. Trust me, natural beauty, free of make up is the most beautiful of all.
